The Gracefield phoenix is a manmade island that offers a prime site for a world class - Live Work & Play- environment in Lekki. The Anchor is the main office for the management company strategically placed on its main intersection. L shaped, the main building is an impressive high tech cylinder standing tall at the corner of 2 extended blocks.
The L shape building frames a rectangular court yard big enough to host 40 parked cars and a garden visible from the atrium granting it with a green extension. The atrium is 4 storeys high emphasising the grandiose scale of the Gracefield's mock-up resting near the info desk. It is connected to the main cylindrical attraction with sculptured metallic stairs and panoramic elevators. The offices are extended over 3 floors in the left and right wings.
On the rooftop, visitors can enjoy the dramatic scenery with the 2 observation decks while sheltered under a canopy that carries the photovoltaic panels responsible for supplying the electric power as well as protecting the building from the sun. Severe weather conditions is always taken into consideration when designing for our clients and in this particular case solutions for extensive rain and flood possibility were integrated into our design.
