MOKELE MBEMBE

Located in the hub of Brazzaville, the complex oversees the Lake Tele, the natural habitat of the Mokele Mbembe. Inspired from its legends, the design reflects the mythological animal's body shape.

The Block A is an independent office building and is treated as the focal point of the project. It was designed to blend with the classic architecture of the city centre while setting the milestone for futuristic design giving it a sober modern character with its high tech materiel garnished with natural stones.

The block B is planned to host a state of the art cinema theatres and a massive shopping mall. A steel cover shields the top floor restaurants and garden enabling the occupants to enjoy the natural light in addition to its functional role in heat regulation and air circulation.

The block C is connected at the base to the adjacent block extending its shopping mall section and levelling the restaurants with a gym and spa. The high rise is conceived as 2 towers connected by bridges to landmark the city centre with its ultra-modern style.
