OAKWELL TOWER - MEDIATION CENTER
NIGERIA

While buildings clearly define physical boundaries, architecture can also gather and unite. Like the process of bringing two opposing sides together to mediate an acceptable compromise between them, appreciating the urban and natural context while integrating it with the built environment helps create a harmony of place both physically and symbolically. The concept reflects the vision of bringing architecture to encompass the purpose of a mediation center. The building encompasses a central atrium extended to the four floors, and where the offices and counseling rooms are grouped around it, in addition to a basement parking for 38 cars.
