MAR MICHAEL CHURCH

After the port explosion of Beirut on August 4 2020, the beloved Mar Michael church was destroyed.
The afformentioned chapel was a source of hope for many of the residents in the area.
The priests after all shock and devastation of the explosion decided to reconstruct and restore the church of Mar Michael in order to keep its memory alive.
The sanctuary kept its original traditional structure but it was modernised. This is shown through its exterior details and its interior design.
